Συγκριτική μελέτη ελληνικού και γαλλικού εκπαιδευτικού συστήματος: η περίπτωση της επαγγελματικής εκπαίδευσης (Master thesis)

This research is a bibliographic overview of vocational education in Greece and France, it studies and presents some European good practices on how to build and operate vocational education while recording findings and suggestions. The survey contains seven chapters: chapter 1 presents the European Union's policy, the institutional background and the historical development of vocational education, especially during the period 2000-2020. The second chapter describes the policy and analyzes the organization, structures and apprenticeship that Greece is pursuing in vocational education and training, and describes France's education system regarding vocational training. The third chapter attempts through content analysis a comparison of the Greek and French education system for vocational education and the fourth includes the conclusions and proposals The main conclusions are that although Greece has made a series of reforms aiming at upgrading vocational education and training, these reforms need to be enriched so that the positive results they have so far have been reinforced. A prerequisite is the provision of financial resources aimed at enhancing Vocational Lyceums.
