Collaboration, synergy and cooperation between childcare and pre-school teachers in a holistic way via integrated approaches consists the basis of the study. Therefore, finding a common tool for measuring quality in kindergarten and childcare programmes is considered necessary. Given the importance of the attitude of both childcare and kindergarten professionals to the success or failure of collaboration, it was considered interesting to record their views. In the present study, bibliographical research was used. The quality of the Early Childhood environment was evaluated with the use of questionnaires. The survey was attended by kindergarten teachers fromSerres, with the final sample reaching 132 participants. Resultsrevealed the necessity of cooperation between the two structures and the importance of their evaluation through innovative processes. In particular, the high quality of services provided in preschool educational centers was concluded, with quality control being realized from a different angle. Differentiation was also observed among the children who attended kindergarten from public or private early childhood centers and children from home. In addition, an extensive reference is made to the lack of a positive attitude and its link to the improvement of Greek early childhood education system. Finally, the research focuses on the importance of continuing education and on the existing adequacy of the scientific training of active kindergarten teachers, but also on their established perceptions of the subject under investigation.
