The theme of this paper is the innovative institution of the Excellence and Creativity Associations in the Experimental Schools. The aim of this research is to present the implications of this new institution, the problems and prospects it has brought, and at the same time to propose ways for this institution to be generally accepted. The research reflects all the concerns and positive points for the institution of Excellence and Creativity Associations in the Experimental Schools, so that this innovation is viable and generalized. This research will capture all these aspects. In such way the Greek educational system will comprehend the new facts and will keep up with the new social reality, which wish a school is "open" to society. Group innovation must be evolved continuously and be renewed. According to the new institutional framework, these groups are now an institution of the experimental school. In this paper, the term innovation, the new institutional framework of the Experimental Schools and the objectives of the groups of excellence are presented. In our research teachers, parents and pupils of experimental schools the positive response of all the education institutions to this new institution is outlined. Everyone recognizes its innovative character and thinks it can be the basis for a new educational philosophy. Teachers also point to the need for more active support by the government through incentives (mainly educational). Students also recognize that Associations positively influence the school environment and lead to the development of more specific skills. Parents, though wary of this new institution, are recognizing a positive response from the students' side. All educational entities consider that Associations should have a more systematic character and be universally applicable to all school units. At the same time, they recognize that Associations can cultivate a multi-faceted and multi-aspect personality of students.
