Among the educational sector it is not usual for clashes to be observed. It
could be noted that it is a topic which sparks concern and is regarded as a daily
occurrence. Despite the fact that it is widely common for controversy to exist between
teachers, however, it should not be accepted as the norm and should be adequately
faced in order for solutions to be found.
The aim of this research is to contemplate the approach of clashes between
school units. More specifically this assignment will be separated in two parts the
theoretical and the empirical part. For the theoretical part the essence of conflict it is
characteristic and general forms will be analyzed. Furthermore, the reasons as to why
this happens and the consequences of this will be discussed.
As for the empirical part of this assignment a sample of theoretical study of
200 primary school teachers will be presented. More specifically in the research the
general causes of conflict will be depicted, the consequences of the conflict on the
corresponding school institutes and the most common ways of handling these issues
will be portrayed.
