Οικολογική έξυπνη πόλη (Bachelor thesis)

The strategic objective of this paper is to study a city where it can combine new energy, transport and communications technologies, with the primary aim of respecting the environment. The purpose of the study is to provide the necessary services and infrastructures that will facilitate the upgrading of the quality of life and the improvement of sustainable urban development. The present work is divided into two parts. The first part is the general part of the thesis, it refers to the concept of smart city, to the actions of urban sustainability and the good practices of green cities. Below are presented the features of smart cities combined with ecological consciousness, with inventory development strategies for building and upgrading them. Additionally, sensor applications, technologies, applications and networks are being studied to improve the quality of life combined with energy saving and the exclusive use of renewable energy sources. The second part presents the study and design of the city of the future, where the ideal model of a modern city is analyzed. Key factors include environmental planning, waste management, natural resource management, energy saving, and green infrastructure building materials.
