Σχεδιασμός marketing plan για την ίδρυση και λειτουργία ιδιωτικού δημοτικού σχολείου στην Καστοριά (Master thesis)

Purpose: The thesis was developed in the framework of the postgraduate study
program "Administration and Organization of Educational Units" of the School of
Economics and Management of the Department of Marketing and Tourism
Management of the International University of Greece. The subject of this thesis is the
design of a marketing plan of a newly established primary education organization
providing educational services and in particular the establishment and operation of a
private elementary school in the prefecture of Kastoria. Due to the current economic
situation currently prevailing in the country, it is essential that the study be drafted in
order to assess the degree of sustainability of the training organization over three
years from the date of its launch.
Methodology: Initially, the market environment statistics in which the private
elementary school will be developed and operated will be quoted. Then, are
identified, the reasons for its existence, the philosophy and the purpose of the
presence of a new private elementary school in the market of Kastoria. Then follows
the marketing mix analysis of the private elementary school, through which it is
clearly identified, the product / service offered, the pricing policy to be followed, the
distribution channels through which the distribution network of the services provided
is enhanced, the promotional and advertising policies through which effective
communication and disclosure of the services provided to customers, human
resources - personnel is the basic human resources of the school community, the
physical and technological environment and the operational process. Then is analyzed
the interior environment (school address, location, building infrastructure, human
resources, interior material - technological environment, organization) and the
external environment (socio-cultural factors, political / legal factors, economic
factors, technological factors) organization. A SWOT analysis follows, in which an
attempt is made to identify strengths and weaknesses as well as opportunities and
threats that will be particularly useful for the course of the operation of the
educational organization. In addition, PESTLE Analysis follows, which is very useful
in terms of the political, economical, social, technological environmental as well as the legal and legislative framework and environmental issues. An important part is the
development of marketing strategies and the setting of goals.
Conclusions: The economic study is vital to the sustainability of the educational
organization, and this is achieved through the financial analysis of its course over a
three-year period. From this it follows that the school as a whole gives the image of a
profitable and independent educational organization.
