Inclusion in education for people with disabilities is a European Union policy. People
with disabilities need to be integrated into the general education system and supported
with personalized support. The overall objective is for the EU to support inclusive
quality education and training for people with disabilities in order to make them socially
and productively economically fit. In particular, the deaf population is heterogeneous
and their educational support depends on the characteristics of the group to which they
belong, such as pre-deaf, post-deaf, hearing or deaf parents, cultural orientation, and
related problems. So for the right educational context, that is, if deaf students go to a
purely special school or an accession school, they recommend groups of experts, which
is done in Europe and Greece.
The purpose of this work is to investigate whether a special school, which is considered
to be a place of segregated education and condemned by many, has implemented quality
academic and social inclusion programs effectively for the education of Deaf
Teenagers, if it the EU has contributed to it with its programs and tools and what
restrictions there are.
