Vine-growing is effectively linked to the production of wine, a product that combines culture with human pleasure. The qualified characteristics that follow the wine are linked both to the place or production area and to the variety "born" in that place or region. The area of Aitoloakarnania has wines of a protected name and of superior quality. Thus, the cultivation of vineyards in the region is of particular value.
