Έρευνα αξιολόγησης προτιμήσεων μετακινούμενων στην πόλη της Θεσσαλονίκης. (Bachelor thesis)

The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the factors that affect the preferences on
alternative means of transportation, as well as the variables that determine the
behavior of the passengers. The survey focuses on passengers who use the means
of transportation in Thessaloniki. At this stage, the passengers are served by the
Thessaloniki Urban Transport Organization, which is the only mean of mass
transportation in the city, while the Metro project is under construction and the
electric scooters have made their appearance in Thessaloniki. The addition of new
means of transport to the city of Thessaloniki cause the interest for further
research. Therefore, the determinants of passenger choices for the use of private
vehicles, urban buses, metro and electric scooters were assessed. Also, inhibitory
factors and incentives for the choice of different modes of transport were
explored.
To conduct the survey, the data were collected by random sampling using
questionnaires. A total of 104 people participated in the survey, and a statistical
analysis was performed with the help of the statistical program IBM SPSS (Superior
Performance Software System) Statistics Version 23, in order to identify the factors
that affect the behavior of the passengers.
Finally, after analyzing and commenting on the results, proposals are made to
increase the use of friendly means of transport, meaning the use of Public
Transportation and Micro-Mobility.

| Abstract: | Ο σκοπός της παρούσας πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι η εκτίμηση των προσδιοριστικών
παραγόντων για την προτίμηση των διάφορων διαθέσιμων μέσων μεταφοράς,
καθώς επίσης και των μεταβλητών που καθορίζουν τη συμπεριφορά των
μετακινούμενων. Η έρευνα εστιάζει στους μετακινούμενους στην πόλη της
Θεσσαλονίκης. Επί του παρόντος, οι μετακινούμενοι εξυπηρετούνται από τα αστικά
λεωφορεία του Οργανισμού Αστικών Συγκοινωνιών Θεσσαλονίκης, που είναι το
μοναδικό μέσο μαζικής μεταφοράς της πόλης, ενώ υπό εξέλιξη βρίσκεται το έργο
του Μετρό και παράλληλα την εμφάνιση τους στην Θεσσαλονίκη έχουν κάνει τα
ηλεκτρικά πατίνια. Η προσθήκη των νέων μέσων μεταφοράς στην πόλη της
Θεσσαλονίκης αποτελεί τον λόγο για τον οποίο επιλέχθηκε η συγκεκριμένη πόλη.
Επομένως, εκτιμώνται οι προσδιοριστικοί παράγοντες σχετικά με τις επιλογές των
μετακινούμενων για τη χρήση των ιδιωτικών οχημάτων, του αστικού λεωφορείου,
του μετρό, καθώς και του ηλεκτρικού πατινιού. Επίσης, διερευνώνται οι
ανασταλτικοί παράγοντες και τα κίνητρα για την επιλογή των διάφορων
μεταφορικών μέσων.
Για την πραγματοποίηση της έρευνας, τα δεδομένα συλλέχθηκαν με τυχαία
δειγματοληψία με την βοήθεια ερωτηματολογίων. Στην έρευνα συμμετείχαν
συνολικά 104 άτομα, ενώ με την βοήθεια του στατιστικού προγράμματος IBM SPSS
(Superior Performance Software System) Statistics Version 23 υλοποιήθηκε η
περιγραφική στατιστική ανάλυση, προκειμένου να προσδιοριστούν οι παράγοντες
που επηρεάζουν την συμπεριφορά των μετακινούμενων.
Τέλος, μετά την ανάλυση και τον σχολιασμό των αποτελεσμάτων, η έρευνα
καταλήγει σε προτάσεις προκειμένου να αυξηθεί η χρήση των φιλικών μέσων
μεταφοράς, δηλαδή για την χρήση των Μέσων Μαζικής Μεταφοράς καθώς και της
Μικρό-κινητικότητας.
