I decided to deal with the analysis of the financial aspects of the winemaking industry between conventional and organic wine cultivation, because I believe that most of them have turned to the primary sector and especially to organic production. Nowadays, consumer confidence has been shaken and is looking for better quality products and safer for their health. As we have seen in this paper, organic farming is increasingly gaining ground on a global scale, although in Greece it is still quite small. Specifically, over 50 crops are cultivated in Greece with wine holding the 6th place. The area under cultivation as well as exports year by year increase but to a small extent compared to conventional farming. In the years to come, there are market prospects, with the main problem being the small market for organic wine products.
