The present paper refers to the intention of the school to be open to the society, becoming a cultural and intellectual marking point inside it. The main goal of this study is to focus on the educational actions and influence inside the frames of the local society. Furthermore we focus and investigate all the ways that open school’s activities act influence on the society and present the social, educational and psychological potential benefits that may come up by this process. The research took place in Khalkidhiki through a questionnaire that was provided via email to all the participants. We are talking about a quantity survey that summarized the percentage of the potential replies. The results revealed the necessity of the “open school” nowadays, alongside with our times’ needs, inspiring and being inspired at the same time by the domestic community and contributing to the general upgrade of the specific area that we focused on. Of course any random problems which arose by any cooperation matters cannot simply underestimate or even change the general results. Moreover the survey proves that the “open school” could take advantage of all the cultural, historical and natural sources of the area by adopting them and become a steady quality point for the entire community. The findings can definitely be used by the headmasters and the teachers as well who wish to enrich the schools and the curriculums in which they work. Moreover the local authorities can be befitted and emerge the potentials of their places. We must also mention here the potential benefit of all those experts who seek new innovations in education.
