The most important dimensions of quality are the existence of appropriate facilities, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. Almost all of them, according to the results of the survey, are rated low for the Greek universities. In addition, the quality assurance measures already taken by universities are considered to be largely inadequate and ineffective. Bureaucracy is also considered a major problem over time. In addition, the financial crisis seems to have negatively affected the quality of the educational services provided, as the under-staffing of the universities is recorded by the majority of the sample, both in the academic-research sector and in the administrative staff.
