Nowadays, e-government characterizes the modern organization and administration of the public sector, which is improved through the integration of new information and communication technologies (ICT), the internet the World Wide Web, with the aim of providing upgraded and better-quality services. to the citizens. In this context, the management of educational units could not be left unaffected by the electronic tools of e-government. The widespread use of ICT, and in particular mySchool, which is a multifaceted information system, has upgraded the day-to-day reality of school administration by transforming the traditional Greek school into a digital one. With the reduction of bureaucratic and manual procedures, the passage to digital facilities of organization and operation, the foundations are laid for a more qualitative and effective digital education environment in Greece. The purpose of this research work is to investigate the influence of e-government in school administration and to demonstrate the degree of effectiveness of mySchool in the organizational and administrative functioning of schools. In addition, it aims to examine whether and to what extent e-government tools are perceived by the educational community as a factor in reducing the administrative burden in the field of education in our country.
