The purpose of this thesis is to compare the methods provided for estimating the concrete classes of structural elements of the Royal Court building. The study involves investigating the effects of compressive strength on the core by employing an artisanal technique with specialized laboratory equipment to evaluate the structural adequacy of the anchors. The study is developed in three chapters. The first chapter presents the general principles and limitations in determining the strength of structures (new and existing and describes each technique and method used in this work). The second chapter focuses on the analysis of the methods chosen to be followed. The last chapter presents the conclusions and suggests some indicative solutions to the problem. 3 different methodologies were used to evaluate the strength class of concrete: a) EN13791, b) ΕΛ.Ο.Τ 344 according to ΚΑΝ.ΕΠΕ and c) the E7 circular of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, which convert core compressive strength to concrete class.
