The aim of the present project was the presentation of the interventions-services that exist at a spa and the discrimination of them in aesthetic and therapeutic. The therapies-services of a spa are: massage, hydrotherapy, body and face treatments and more aesthetic services: hair removal, manicure, pedicure. The subcategory of each benefit provides historical data, general characteristics, purpose, technique and method of application, indications and contraindications, and results. Taking into account the information derived all from all spa services and based on the results they provide, it is proven that they have therapeutic or aesthetic character respectively. Most of them seem to have double action, which means that they contribute to human health while giving an aesthetic effect.
