The purpose of this work is to study the body image and external appearance as they evolve in modern societies as well as the effects and impact on their mental balance, social life and environment. The study tries to identify the needs that drive people to diversify their characteristics and whether they are considered real and necessary or whether they are the result of social norms and a phenomenon of the modern era, which they want to deal constantly with his external appearance and his desire to improve it. People who undergo cosmetic interventions, in large part, appear to be making such a decision in order to better adapt to their personal and environmental requirements. The second part of the work refers to the ways they can apply to these people who seek to successfully improve their body image.
