The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the practices developed by teachers and principals in the Greek primary school in order to deal with children with Behavioral Disorder. The theoretical part includes the main elements from the existing bibliographic data for the understanding of this complex phenomenon that occurs more and more often in everyday school life. Behavioral Disorder is defined, the forms in which it most often manifests itself in school are described and elements of epidemiology in Greece are reported. The various causes of it are also examined and the related disorders are noted. Following that, the general and special (according to the level) educational goals of the Greek school are recorded, as well as the responsibilities and the mission of the teacher, the principal and the school class. Student challenging behavior and school bullying related to Behavioral Disorder are described, as well as the interventionist approaches of educators and stakeholders. In the second part of the paper, the views of 10 teachers and 10 primary school principals of schools in Eastern Thessaloniki on Behavioral Disorder are presented, through qualitative research using interviews. It is preceded by a brief reference to the principles and importance of scientific research in general and followed by the description of the purposes of the present study. The criteria and the difficulties related to the choice of treatment of the Disorder are investigated with the use of three research questions regarding the way of diagnosing the Behavioral Disorder in school, the selection of the appropriate treatment practices and the process of the final / overall evaluation. In general, there was a relative unanimity between teachers and principals, with some differences on issues such as the equal treatment of disordered behaviors, the targeting of practices of copying with Behavioral Disorders and the difficulties in the final evaluation of these actions. The answers of the educators are analyzed and presented comparatively, together with the conclusions that emerge from them. Finally, some suggestions for the extension of the research and data regarding the participants in the qualitative research, the questions they were asked to answer and the texts of the interviews themselves are included.
