This undergraduate thesis deals with the rehabilitation after the lumbarspinal fusion surgery. In particular, the first chapter makes extensive reference to the anatomy of the spine and sub-elements, with more emphasis on lumbar spine. The second chapter describes in detail the process of spinal fusion with reference to the definition, types, techniques, indications and complications. The third chapter contains the bibliographic review, which describes the purpose of the research and the selection process of the scientific articles.There are also presented the results of 13 surveys in the form of detailed tables.
Finally, the fourth chapter specializes in rehabilitation after spinal surgery and is divided into two subgroups, preoperative and postoperative physiotherapy. The thesis concludes with a reference to the bibliography used.

| Abstract: | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία ασχολείται με την αποκατάσταση μετά απο χειρουργείο σπονδυλοδεσίας στην οσφυϊκή μοίρα.
Ειδικότερα, στο πρώτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται εκτενής αναφορά στην ανατομία της σπονδυλικής στήλης και των επιμέρους στοιχείων, με περισσοτερη έμφαση στην οσφυϊκή μοίρα.
Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο περιγράφεται λεπτομερώς η διαδικασία της σπονδυλοδεσίας με αναφορά στον ορισμό, στα είδη.τις τεχνικές καθώς και τις ενδείξεις και επιπλοκές.
Το τρίτο κεφάλαιο περιλαμβάνει την βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση,όπου περιγράφεται ο σκοπός της έρευνας και ο τρόπος επιλογής των επιστημονικών άρθρων που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν. Επίσης, παρουσιάζονται τα αποτελέσματα που προέκυψαν απο 13 έρευνες με τη μορφή λεπτομερών πινάκων.
Τέλος, το τέταρο κεφάλαιο ειδικεύεται στην αποκατάσταση μετά απο το χειρουργείο σπονδυλοδεσίας και χωρίζεται σε δύο υποενότητες, την προεγχειρητική και την μετεγχειρητική φυσικοθεραπεία.
