This thesis studies the discipline of work boredom with emphasis to public sector. Work boredom is a usual phenomenon at the workplace, which is related within all the aspects of their daily routine and activities, whereas all the employees experience to the emotional state of the employees and is interconnected with multiple factors within and outside of the organizations. Furthermore, it is an exceptional subjective status that influence the well-being of the employees work boredom in different scale and for different reasons. The theoretical framework is based on both greek and international bibliography and arthrography, while the conducted research within a sample of the (10) librarians who work at the public sector is presented in the second part of the thesis. The results of the research are being analysed thoroughly accompanied by relevant figures that better illustrate the arguments.
