Job gives meaning to life and characterizes the place of individuals in society and is not just a livelihood factor. The difficulties that the employee faces every day in the working field, wear him down mentally and physically. The interest in the subject of the work is lost, the satisfaction he derives from his work ceases to exist and his self-image is destroyed. This phenomenon is called "occupational exhaustion" and is increasingly common nowadays. Through the international literature, occupational exhaustion appears to have a negative direct impact on both job satisfaction and interprofessional cooperation. The aim of this study is to investigate the phenomenon of occupational exhaustion of health professionals of the General Hospital - Lemnos Health Center and the correlation of the occurrence of the syndrome with occupational satisfaction and the existence of successful or not, communication and professional cooperation between them. . The survey was conducted from March to May 2020. The study sample consisted of 114 health workers of the organization. To conduct it, a suitable questionnaire of three sections was used: a) Demographic Characteristics, b) Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), c) Job – Communication - Satisfaction Importance (JCSI). The findings from statistical processing and data analysis suggest that parents of three children have a higher level of personal achievement. Men healthcare professionals have a higher level of job satisfaction, more general information and work-related communication as well as managerial positions. The results also show a negative correlation between the level of depersonalization and overall job satisfaction, information and communication. The same negative correlation results from the level of emotional exhaustion in terms of satisfaction and the importance that employees attach to communication and collaboration. Finally, it is found a positive correlation between the level of personal achievements and job satisfaction, information, communication and inter-professional cooperation, but also the importance that employees give to communication.
