PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is the bibliographic record and the research approach of the effect of cyclical hours on the professional satisfaction and burnout of the employees of the institution. METHODOLOGY: For the implementation of the study, a structured questionnaire was used which investigated the effect of cyclical hours on burnout and the professional satisfaction of the respondents. Respondents are generally satisfied with their work and its subject matter, they feel that they work hard every day but they do not feel frustrated with their work or emotionally exhausted. Regarding the personal achievements of the respondents, more often they feel that they easily understand how their patients feel, while less often they feel full of strength and energy. Finally, in terms of the feeling of depersonalization, respondents are more likely to feel that their patients are blaming them, while they are less likely to think that they are not really interested in what is happening to some of their patients. CONCLUSIONS: The majority of employees are women aged 45 to 55 with several years of regular work, most are married, their husbands work and have people who need their care.
