There is no question of the fact that within the context of broader interpersonal relationships, as well as social interactions developed by a child in the context of his life, one of the most important, it is thought to be the developed one, between him and his teacher. From the point of view of the educator, we could argue that this is the person who, given his cognitive and scientific background, has all the necessary techniques and methods, through the exploitation of which, results in more effective interaction with his students. In the context of these interaction relationships, he also has an effective and healthy communication with them. In order to develop effective interaction relationships, as well as the existence of effective communication between the child and his teacher, the high emotional intelligence of the second one is necessary. In the context of this diploma thesis, we focus on the study and analysis of both social and emotional skills that should be held by the educator as well as his degree of emotional intelligence for the purposes of developing healthy and close relationships of interaction and communication with children. This issue is approached on the one hand, through extensive bibliographic review, and on the other, through primary research, through the use of a structured questionnaire addressed to teachers
