Καλύβας, Πέτρος

The purpose of this quantitative research was to investigate the views and practices of secondary school teachers in the prefecture of Arta regarding the inclusion of the interactive whiteboard in teaching. The research differs from the few relevant surveys conducted in Greece, as it focuses on teachers who use the interactive whiteboard. In particular, the teachers' views on flexibility and the interactive whiteboard in general and its use in teaching and learning were examined. The study involved 63 teachers of public secondary education units. Online questionnaire was used. The results of the research showed different forms of use of the interactive whiteboard in the educational practice. The teachers expressed positive views on the use of the interactive whiteboard and described several advantages for teaching and learning, while expressing themselves positively for its ease of use.
