European educational programs are designed to enhance cooperation between European countries, exchange of best practices and enhance the European dimension in education. European cooperation and innovative teaching and learning approaches aim, among other things, to enrich curricula and learning environments to leverage the quality of education provided. The purpose of this research was to highlight the usefulness and effectiveness of these programs, at least from the perspective of students and teachers. The majority of students who participated in the research believed that their participation in the Erasmus program was responsible for improving both their knowledge in their subject training and the improvement of digital skills, learning abilities and social and cultural abilities. In addition, most individuals in the sample believe that their involvement in this program provided them with useful experience in how to respond to difficult situations in their lives and in working effectively with other people within the group. In this sense, these programs should continue to be implemented so that as many people as possible can benefit from the beneficial effects on individuals' lives and the wider social environment
