Εμπειρίες και απόψεις των νηπιαγωγών για την εισαγωγή της ρομποτικής στα εργαστήρια δεξιοτήτων (Master thesis)

In recent years, technology has been integrated into our lives. Year after year it is also being introduced at an educational level in schools at all levels, with the aim of making the educational process follow the evolution of technology. In the last year, skills workshops have been introduced in the kindergarten curriculum. Their objective is to cultivate pupils' skills so that they can discover new knowledge, take initiative, set goals, collaborate and develop their critical thinking, rather than simply being recipients of knowledge. The workshops include activities such as robotics, entrepreneurship, road safety, sex education, ecological awareness. In this paper we will focus on the implementation of the robotics project, which falls under the thematic cycle "Creating and innovating - creative thinking and initiative". Through the use of robotics, students have the opportunity to foster cooperation, develop imagination and creativity, find solutions to problems, better integrate knowledge in an experiential way, become familiar with technology and develop critical and algorithmic thinking. Our aim is to record the views and experiences of the kindergarten teachers after the mandatory implementation of these activities. More specifically, we will examine the effectiveness of the workshops through the teachers' familiarity and readiness to teach robotics, the organization and availability of materials in their schools, and the interest and response of students.
