Δυσλεξία και επαγγελματική εκπαίδευση στην Ελλάδα (Master thesis)
Γκαβανίδου, Χρυσή
Learning Difficulties in recent years have been a cutting-edge educational problem for
Greek reality, as it refers to thousands of pupils and concerns both parents and
teachers. While many studies have been done on primary education and especially on
early diagnosis of difficulties, this is not the case for secondary education and in
particular vocational education. Technical Senior High School is a combination of
practice and theory form as an educational category, bringing together students from
popular backgrounds, often with poor performance in the High School, with a limited
desire for social development and growth as well. In this Diploma thesis, after
examining theoretically the topic of learning disabilities, we study the attitude of
teachers towards children with learning disabilities. Through a qualitative research in
West Thessaloniki EPAL teaching staff, it is examined how well the Secondary
Technological Education teachers are trained on the ways and methods of teaching
students-pupils with learning disabilities, and their teaching and learning activities,
with other stakeholders about learning disabilities.
