Εξαγωγικές επιδόσεις : Η περίπτωση των προϊόντων ζωικής προέλευσης (Bachelor thesis)

This work focuses on the animal products industry, one of the growing and interesting sectors for the domestic economy, especially meat, meat products, eggs and honey. The purpose of this paper is to study the course of exports in recent years and the performance of export enterprises. Both qualitative and quantitative research was applied, due to restrictions of the research. For quantitative research, a questionnaire was utilized, while for the qualitative survey of deep interviews in two companies exporting products of animal origin. The results showed that export success, as perceived by businesses, translates into increased sales, new customers and markets. The most important factor for export success is the quality of the products offered by the company, as their price is not competitive but they are preferred because of their superior quality. In order to produce high-quality products businesses, invest in modern equipment and know-how of workers, meet the requirements for the necessary conditions of production and distribution for healthy and safe food products and carry out quality control checks.
