Nowadays an important component of the management philosophy of each organization is having Emotional Intelligence skills, as this is not solely due to the competition of the services but also to the way it manages its human resources. As work becomes more complex and requires cooperation, the educational organizations and especially the administrations of the educational departments need to adopt new skills and abilities so that people will be able to work in harmonious relationships. This thesis focuses on the Emotional Intelligence skills the director of the primary education administration is useful to have, according to the educators working in primary schools. The quantitative approach was preferred and the questionnaire was carefully designed by modifying the questions from Salovey & Mayer (1990), The Assessing Emotion Scale, as it was formed by Schutte, Malouff and Bhuller (2009). The data collected was analyzed with the statistic tool IBM SPSS.
